The course is a Three Day (18hrs) course as specified by the Health and Safety Authority.
What is the need for an occupational first aid course?
Employers are required to have a number of certified First Aiders in the workplace to administer first aid as required by the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the (General Application) Regulations 2007.
Certification: 2 Year certification of Competence, from Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council recognised by Health & Safety Authority, following successful assessments.
Pre-Course Requirements
Valid Occupational First Aid OR original First Aid Responder Certificate, prove of certification required. Proof of last date of assessment required. Burden of proof is on the learner, and may effect certification of training.
